Description
Fred’s Way was recorded and released by the House Big Band on its album “Getting Housed”. I wrote this song in dedication to Fred Radke, leader of the Harry James Orchestra. This composition is in the style of the 1960s straight eighth grooves of Nat Adderley. There are solos from each section as well as an all skate cacophony at the end! I learned a lot and had some great times doing things Fred’s Way. Enjoy!
