Description
Jen’s Prelude was recorded and released by the House Big Band on its album “Getting Housed”. My training through my college years was in contemporary classical music. “Jen’s Prelude” is based on the the harmonic structure of the first movement of Alfred Desenclos’ 1956 composition “Prelude, Cadense, and Finale.” Tenor Sax is featured throughout the ballad opening chorus. Trumpet is featured on the driving build of the final half of the chart. Every section gets to shine throughout this ride. Enjoy!
